3. Storage Agreement
Upon agreeing to our services, the Customer will sign a Storage Agreement that outlines the duration, fees, and specific terms related to the storage unit. It is the responsibility of the Customer to read and understand the agreement thoroughly.
4. Use of Storage Facilities
4.1. Eligibility
Customers must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. Proof of identity and residence may be required.
4.2. Permissible Items
Customers may store personal belongings, business inventory, and other non-hazardous items. Prohibited items include:
- Hazardous materials
- Perishable goods
- Illegal substances
- Valuables such as cash or jewelry (recommendation for insurance)
5. Payment Terms
Payments are due monthly in advance. Customers must pay the full amount by the due date to avoid late fees or potential termination of the storage agreement. Accepted payment methods include credit cards, bank transfers, and checks.
6. Access to Storage Units
Customers are granted access to their storage units during operational hours. Unauthorized access outside these hours is prohibited and may result in additional charges or legal action.
7. Security Measures
Barnes Storage employs various security measures to protect stored items, including:
- 24/7 surveillance cameras
- Gated access with electronic keypads
- On-site security personnel
While we ensure a high level of security, Barnes Storage is not liable for loss or damage to items unless caused by negligence on our part.
8. Insurance
Customers are responsible for insuring their stored items. Barnes Storage offers basic coverage, but additional insurance can be arranged through third-party providers.
9. Termination of Agreement
Either party may terminate the storage agreement with a written notice of 30 days. Upon termination, the Customer must remove all items from the storage unit. Unremoved items after the notice period may be disposed of in accordance with local laws.
10. Liability
Barnes Storage is not liable for:
- Loss or damage due to natural disasters
- Acts of terrorism
- Theft or vandalism not detected by security measures
We highly recommend that Customers obtain adequate insurance coverage for their stored items.
11. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from the use of Barnes Storage services shall be resolved through mediation. If mediation fails, the dispute will be settled in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Barnes Storage operates.
12. Amendments to Terms
Barnes Storage reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of changes via email or postal mail. Continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which Barnes Storage operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
14. Severability

These Terms and Conditions, along with the Storage Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between the Customer and Barnes Storage, superseding all prior agreements or communications.
